Who has been around since the very beginning of BusbeeStyle.com? Anyone? Oh my gosh, it’s been a long time…almost 9 years to be exact. My 9-year blog-iversary is this summer. I’m so grateful for those of you who have stuck around and continue to support me! If you’ve been here a while, you know how much I love Nordstrom, and I’m guessing you probably love Nordstrom too. They’re one of my top-selling retailers year after year so I did some digging to find my best-selling Nordstrom pieces over the years. Most of these will probably not surprise you…

#1) Rails Cotton Ellis Button-Down Shirt

Here’s one that you might recognize if you’ve been around here for a while. I’ve owned and talked about this Rails button-down shirt for years. If you don’t already own this white Rails button-down shirt, you’ll definitely want to scoop one up…it’s SO good and the perfect summer staple. It’s 100% cotton so it’s lightweight and breathable. You can style it SO many ways too…tucked, half tucked, tied up, etc., and with jeans, shorts, skirts, or even as a coverup. I have it in two sizes, a small when I want a more tailored fit, and a medium to wear as a swim coverup or when I want a billowier fit.

#2) Halogen Raw Edge Tank

Coming in at #2… the Halogen Raw Edge Tank that I’ve had in my wardrobe for about 3 years and still wear quite a bit. I always talk about those basics-with-a-twist and this tank is the perfect example. It has cool raw edge details around the hem and neckline that sets it apart from a basic white tank top. I wear this tank on its own with jeans, shorts, and skirts during the spring/summer and layered under blazers and moto jackets during the fall/winter. It also works well with tan pants for the office. I have the tank in black too, but it comes in a bunch of colors. Oh, and it’s a steal at only $49!

#3) White Mother Hustler Jeans

Next up is a pair of white jeans that have become a top seller more recently…the Mother Hustler Jeans. Multiple Team Busbee members have these jeans in different washes and they’re SO good. I personally love the white for summer, but I linked a few other washes below too.  I love them so much I have them in white, black, and a few other blue denim washes. This white pair has a great fit, an almost 11” rise so you feel secure but not too sucked in, and the inseam length (26”) is perfect on my petite frame… so I can wear flats, sneakers, or pretty much any type of shoes.   The denim is super high-quality and comfortable. They run true to size. I’m wearing a size 26.

White jeans are so easy to dress up or down, they’re truly SO versatile for summer. In this look, I styled them with a chic blue and white striped shirt and a pair of neutral wedges by Veronica Beard. This is a quintessential summer look and basically my style uniform…with the exception of a sneaker swap for all the lacrosse tournaments.

#4) Veronica Beard Scuba Dickey Blazer

Oh, hello old friend. This Veronica Beard blazer has been a Nordstrom best seller since the very early years of Busbee Style! Blazers are one of those basics that are a must-have in every woman’s closet and this Veronica Beard scuba blazer is by far the most versatile, high-quality option I’ve tried. It’s on the pricier side, but I’ve had it for YEARS and still wear it…making the cost per wear SO worth it.

The blazer has an amazing, tailored fit, the fabric is high-quality and durable but not too heavy, it has minimal hardware, and it’s a dickey blazer so you can zip in and out the different Veronica Beard dickeys depending on the look you’re going for. In this look, I have a white sweater dickey attached, but there are a lot of options to choose from! The scuba-like fabric makes this ideal for travel as it will not wrinkle.

#5) Veronica Beard Miller Blazer

If you already have the scuba blazer or just want something with a little more pizazz, the Veronica Beard Miller blazer is a wonderful option and another one of our top sellers over the years! It has the same sleek sophistication, but the double-breasted style and gold button details make it feel a little more classic. I love the fit and that it also has the zip-in/out dickey option. It runs true to size.

#6) Paige Genevieve Flare Jeans

Remember these chic flared jeans from last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? They quickly became one of your favorites and I completely understand why! They are a super dark wash with no contrasting stitching or hardware, making them a basic that will never go out of style. The flared leg silhouette is on-trend but still a classic style so you know you’ll wear them for years and years. Plus, the flared leg and dark wash making them super flattering and elongating. I’m talkin’ legs for days! They are high-rise (10”) and have a 31.5” inseam, which is great for wearing them with a heel for me (I’m 5’4”) but you can also get them hemmed if you want to wear them with lower heels or flats.

#7) Stuart Weitzman Sock Booties

A dressy pair of black booties are a must-have in every woman’s closet. The exact style is up to you, but I highly recommend a pair of sock booties! When I purchased these, I never thought I’d wear them as much as I do…but I reach for them more often than most of my other black booties. They’re SO versatile and pair perfectly with almost every denim leg silhouette. They’re super sleek and have an elongating pointed toe. They have a manageable 3” heel and they’re really comfortable (for heels)! They run true to size.

#8) AG Ex-Boyfriend Jeans

These jeans are a pair that you all loved from the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! During that time, the baggier, more oversized-fitting jeans were just starting to make an appearance in street style and in stores from different designers. There was a lot of resistance toward the baggier styles at first, which is why I recommended these cool, slouchy boyfriend jeans by AG! If you’re still a little apprehensive about the thought of giving up your skinny jeans, these AG jeans are a great option! They’re really not baggy but the slightly relaxed fit gives you that on-trend look. They really are a basic versus a trendy pair of jeans. They have a great fit, high-rise (9.5”), and a 27.5” inseam. The exact wash is sold out but I linked the exact same pair in a different wash. Another great option by this brand is the Mari jeans if you’re looking for a high-quality pair of straight-leg jeans. They both run true to size.

#9) Steve Madden Hayle Boots

Remember these black booties from the NSale for the last two years? Each year they’ve come out with a new version of the booties, and I’ve bought both cause…they’re THAT good. If they have a new version during this year’s NSale, I’ll probably get those too! 😉 In 2021, I wore the booties all over Europe and loved them. They’re comfortable, and the thick lug sole has amazing grip on slick or uneven surfaces. I love that these boots also add edginess to any outfit. I like to wear them with jeans during the fall for an elevated casual look. They run true to size.

#10) Schutz Maryana Knee High Boots

If you’re looking for a dressier pair of boots, these Schutz knee-high boots have been a go-to for me for almost 4 years! I even have them in two other colors (python and ivory). I love styling them with jeans, skirts, and dresses. They’re easy to get on and off, which is a must for me. They have a slight dip in the front and back which is flattering on the leg, especially around the knee. For those of you that need a bit more room in the calf, the circumference on these is 15” which is on the looser side (anything over 15’’ is considered wide). The 3.5” heel is very manageable and easy to walk in, but they also have a block heel option if you don’t love stiletto heels. They run true to size.

#11) Vuori Performance Joggers

Next up is one of the most comfortable pairs of joggers I’ve ever put on! These Vuori joggers are another Team Busbee favorite too. They’re SO comfortable and soft that you never want to take them off. I particularly love the super soft fabric, forgiving elastic waistband and the 25” inseam. The shorter inseam means I can easily wear  sneakers, slippers, or slides on those casual work-from-home days. The joggers come in multiple colors and run true to size.

#12) Moonlight Pajamas

Last but certainly not least are this pair of pajamas that I wear every night. The Moonlight pajamas by Nordstrom are unbelievably soft and cooling. If you’re going through menopause or just run hot at night, you’ll appreciate how cool this material keeps you. I’m wearing the short sleeve top and cropped pants, but the line includes different options like long sleeves, shorts, full-length pants, a sleep shirt, etc. I linked some of the options below. I also love how affordable they are and that they come in a set, so you don’t have to buy each piece separately. They run true to size.
